Vathêl-thêzi Bî (/ˈg̃ajè/ /ˈʃɘzi/ [happy] [beach]) is a temperate Town located in the Yêmëcê Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Vathêl-thêzi Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Vathêl-thêzi Bî was founded by Zlëd Garèj, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Vathêl-thêzi Bî has a yearly average temperature of 21°C (69°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 24°C (75°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 19°C (66°F). Vathêl-thêzi Bî receives an average of 285 cm/y (112 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Vathêl-thêzi Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 6174 m (20255 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Vathêl-thêzi Bî was founded durring the early 13th century in spring of the year 1200, by Zlëd Garèj. The establishment of Vathêl-thêzi Bî suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Vathêl-thêzi Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Vathêl-thêzi Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Vathêl-thêzi Bî is buildings are built arround a single narrow canals mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The town's somewhat suffishent are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Vathêl-thêzi Bî seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire town feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Vathêl-thêzi Bî the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a town, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.

Vathêl-thêzi Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Vathêl-thêzi Bî's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.
